Samaii was awarded Premium at his ZfDP licensing and is one of only a handful of coloured stallions to be accepted into the Oldenburg studbook.

Samaii was Champion of three- and four-year-olds at his first German competition. Judge Hans Jurgen Armbrust.
He had wins & high placings to M level. Since returning to the UK he had multiple wins at Advanced Medium.
His sire Sambertino (Samber /Wellington keur / Onyx (Hector de Manoir) – 8th out of 42 stallions on his 100-day test, scoring max 10 for both character & attitude to work.
Sire of successful progeny competed by Professional, Amateur, Junior & Paralympic riders. These have achieved Grand Prix dressage in Holland & the USA; Eventing offspring to 2*; Showjumpers to 1.35m & multiple Show Champions all the above competed by professional, Amateur
3 International Paralympic dressage horses have been sired by Sambertino. For the UK – So What; Canada – Inspector Rebus & Holland – Papillon, who won 2 World Cup silver medals.
Dam Berolina (Brentano II / Wenzel II / Abhang III) was a Hanoverian Elite Head studbook Verden auction mare. She is the dam of 2 licensed stallions.
Santano (Sandro Hit) was the 2006 BWBS Reserve Champion stallion, owned and competed by Grand Prix rider Katrina Cantrell-Bennett & Premium stallion Samaii.
Dam Sire Brentano II ( Bolero / Grande) was the 1985 Hanoverian Stallion licensing Champion, Performance test Dressage Champion and placed 2nd overall.
In 2003 he was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year & is the sire of 36 licensed stallions, multiple Grand Prix dressage and 2 Olympic/World Cup Team horses – Brentina ridden by Debbie McDonald USA and Barclay II ridden by Sven Rothenberger, Netherlands.
Samaii produces easy, trainable horses with a natural cadence, good bone, excellent walk and uphill canter. He has had very good results on Trakehner and Thoroughbred mares, always producing excellent characters.

In competition, his eldest offspring are competing in Dressage to Advanced Medium (S level) in Germany & in the U.K. have won Regional Championships.
His foals have won the German annual National Pinto Championship & another placed 3rd– ZfDP. Other foals have been awarded Gold medals or Foal Premiums (Oldenburg) as well as taking top score of the day with the British Equestrian Federation.
In Showing, offspring have won Championships at the Horse of the Year Show, Royal Windsor and the Royal International Horse Show.
Dam line – Samaii descends from the Dichterschloss dam line which is renowned for the production of both GP dressage, 1.50m Showjumpers & excellent event horses.
It has also produced multiple stallions including Hanoverians, Dynamit, Salvano, Saphir, Lagerfeld, Almaden & Graf Galen.
