After winning the Reserve-Championship at the Stallion approvals in 1998 Namelus R developed into a great promise. He lives up to his high expectations as a breeding stallion, as proven by his preferent predicate.

Namelus R ranks very high on the KWPN jumping index (152). He passes on a lot of blood and charisma to his offspring. He also produces modern, light-footed horses with good necks and athletic, long-lined models. Namelus R produces show jumpers with lots of quality and a fantastic attitude and rideability.

No description can really do justice to the inheritance power of the preferent stallion Namelus R. His inheritance qualities are unprecedented. Power, strong backs and fine characters ensure that Namelus R offspring always speak out in the jumping ring.

Namelus R has a pedigree that will make any jumper’s mouth water. Sire Concorde was already a legend in his own right due to his successes in show jumping and breeding. He remained in perfect health until a very old age and passed away shortly after his 30th birthday in 2014.

Namelus R’s dam line contains the ‘Golden Cross’ Joost x Abgar xx; the combination that put Stal Roelofs on the map of showjumping horse breeding. The suffix R confirms, of course, that Namelus R was also born at this renowned stud.

Unfortunately, Namelus R himself was only active in the show jumping sport at 1.30 level until he was six years old. An injury stood in the way of a further top sport career. This meant, however, that Namelus R could be fully used for breeding and not without success.

In the meantime, Namelus R has sired ten licensed stallions, including Tolan R, Arthos R, and Dexter R, who are KWPN-approved. By way of Bodinus, Fire, Gullit HBC, Idextro, and Zazou, Namelus R’s influence as a grandsire within the KWPN is now considerable.

Thanks to Nintender, Baldev, Vegas 55, New Cuba Libre, Diodati ‘d Kri Kri, Gamelus R, and H.Amelusiena, the Namelus R blood is also well represented in foreign breeding.

The most important thing, however, is the sporting achievements of Namelus R offspring. In the meantime, no fewer than 24 direct offspring have competed at the 1.60m level, including the aforementioned Arthos R under the American Kasey Ament, Cadalora P and Triple X III under the Canadian Tiffany Foster, and Captain Cooper under Leon and Sanne Thijssen. An additional 54 offspring have performed internationally at the 1.40-1.55 level.

Namelus R sires many black/black bay horses and no chestnuts.
