His sire the world-renowned stallion Kannan really needs no explanation. He impressed in the sport during major championships such as the European Championships in 2005 and won several Grand Prix and Nations Cups under Michel Hecart.

In the dam’s line of Le Kannan we find several stallions in a row, namely the Stal Brouwer stallion Hors La Loi II, the preferent stallion Burggraaf and the  stallion Le Mexico. Dam Zereusa S herself jumped to 80 points at the IBOP and reached the 1.40m-level in her sport career. Her dam Heidi produced a 1.30m horse by New York and is grand dam of several other horses at that level. The next dam is Brigitte (s.Le Mexico), and she is not only the dam of the Grand Prix horse Re Mexico (s.Concorde), but also the granddam of the KWPN stallion Etoulon VDL, who competes at 1.50m level. Her offspring includes the sporthorses Broken Heart (s.Concorde, 1.60m), Corleone (s.Vincenzo, 1.50m), Edoctro (s.Indoctro, 1.50m), Tereusa (s.Heartbreaker, ISP) and the KWPN stallion Levi VDL (s.Arezzo VDL). The dam’s line also produced the international showjumping horses Illusion (by Calvados) and Oteusi (by Burggraaf).
