IRON MAN DE FAVRAY
Cher Epoux X Orlando
Showjumping and eventing stallion Iron Man de Favray is the full package, offering blood, elegance, and ability to breeders. His impressive attributes have been recognized by the Selle Francais stud book. At age 2, finished fourth with the best jumping score in the Selle Français stallion qualifier at St. Lo (18.5).
At three years old, he placed fifth in the Selle Français stallion championship with the best jumping grade, qualified for the testing in the fall of 2021, and was given the approval to produce Selle Français and joined the Stud-Book Selle Français’s young genetics program. 4-year-old finalist at Fontainebleau ranking in the top 100 4-year-old horses.
With around 30 mares a year covered in France during his first breeding seasons, it is clear to see why he is already so popular with breeders. His diverse pedigree offers mare owners a deeper dive into a unique gene pool.
An absolute gentleman in the stables, he even shares his meals with his chicken friend, who frequents his box. This pleasant disposition continues under saddle, where he happily exceeds every expectation with his easy, can-do attitude.
His natural elasticity and locomotion not only demonstrate a strong talent for dressage but also make him an unrivaled jumper, where he is agile and fluid around a course. Coupled with his acrobatic ability over a fence, the young Iron Man de Favray is a world-class stallion in the making.
Pierre HENRIOT, former judge of the Stud Book SF, analyzed his evolution as follows:
